After achieving a degree in Psychology from Georgia Southern University Jasmine McCoy pursued a Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia and after several years of practice ultimately became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and moved into Private Practice. She has worked in the areas of mental health and building strong families in multiple capacities for over 10 years.

Lawanda Owens, LPC, MS
Mrs. Owens is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 8 years of experience working with clients offering ways to better manage depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, parenting, and relationship issues. Her interventions include CBT, DBT, Person-Centered, and Solution Focused therapeutic approaches. Mrs. Owens is an EMDR trained therapist.
At times we are faced with obstacles, stressors, and challenges that create barriers to living a successful life. Mrs. Owens works with clients in a holistic manner, to explore the psychological, spiritual, and emotional aspects of one’s life. Working together as a team to better understand how thinking and feeling are linked to behaviors; we further work as a team to address automatic negative thoughts and implement a plan to redirect thoughts to a more positive exploration of self. Finally, working together to implement daily coping skills, exploring options, possibilities, opportunities.
Taking the first step to see a therapist is the hardest; however, taking that first step can be the most rewarding and fulfilling decision of your life as you gain confidence and discover your strengths and abilities.

Lauren Gordon, MS LPC
Lauren is an associate professional counselor who loves being able to help others. Lauren has a genuine passion and love for seeing others happy and thriving in life and wants to help clients get to and become the best version of themselves that they can be. Lauren identifies mostly with a person-centered therapeutic approach but understands the need for other approaches such as CBT, solution focused, DBT, etc. Lauren understands that every person is unique and therefore needs different therapeutic interventions in order to allow for a successful therapeutic experience.
Lauren has worked in a variety of mental health settings including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, intensive outpatient programs, and foster care agencies. These different settings have given Lauren the opportunity to work with a very diverse population across all age groups.
Some of Lauren’s areas of interest and expertise include depression, anxiety, family issues, stress management, relationship challenges, behavioral modification, emotional regulation, and crisis management. Lauren looks forward to working with you and helping you achieve your mental health goals.
Modes of therapy trained include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (Trauma Based), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques.

Lauren Metayer, LMFT
Lauren Metayer obtained her training in Family Therapy from Mercer University School of Medicine and became fully licensed as an LMFT in 2023. Lauren's passion is helping individuals, couples, and families: to uncover the tools to becoming their best selves. Lauren aims to provide a person-centered approach to guide clients through their therapeutic process and reaffirm their hope for achieving healthier and more fulfilling lives! Areas of focus include: Depressive/Anxious symptoms, Life stressors, Relationship difficulties, Premarital preparation, work/life balance, and difficulties resulting from trauma.
Lauren is a Prepare/Enrich facilitator for couples seeking pre-marital strengthening.

Currently, Kendrell Davis is adding a new light to Parenting and Therapeutic Services LLC, as she brings her special talent and energy connecting to our younger clients. Kendrell is a graduate of Walden University with a Masters Degree in Social Work and obtaining her License as an LMSW, working under the direction of Mrs. McCoy to process trauma and life events with clients through person-centered, solution focused, CBT and other applicable therapeutic modalities.
Kendrell is additionally adding a refreshing new take on therapy approaches with individuals and adolescents, working through depression, bipolar, PTSD, anxiety, and other mental health concerns.
Kendrell Davis, LMSW, MSW

Kelly Taylor, LAPC
Kelly received her Master’s in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from Thomas University in December 2021. She works with children, adolescents and adults. Kelly has experience working with clients with various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflict, ADHD and
mood disorders. Kelly is dedicated to helping clients struggling with mental illnesses find a path forward so they can find purpose and fulfillment in their daily lives.
Kelly’s approach to therapy is both collaborative and supportive. She creates a safe space that fosters open dialogue about coping skills and treatment techniques that will assist her client’s in achieving their treatment goals. Kelly draws from various theoretical frameworks to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
When Kelly is not working she enjoys spending time with her family making memories.

Tami Abiose, LMSW
For Tami, an ideal client would be someone who knows they may be struggling with an issue but has taken the first step for change, and willing to try or learn new skills for their improvement. Tami enjoys opening the door for clients to see their full potential toward change and improve their lives. She believes in holistic, person centered, strengths-based approaches walking alongside with her clients. Areas of focus-Anxiety, depressive symptoms, ADHD, life stressors, relationship issues, among other issues.
Tami received a BA in Sociology, concentration in Social Work from Oglethorpe University and a Masters in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University. She is a certified Life Coach and enjoys empowering others to their fullest potential. Tami strives to give back to others through volunteerism, social work, life coaching and counseling.
In her spare time, Tami enjoys working out, trying new Vegan restaurants and recipes, and spending time with family.

Cristina Mircea-Meydan, LMSW
Cristina Mircea-Meydan obtained a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia. She has years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in individual and group settings. Cristina has worked in different settings, including domestic violence, court systems, the
Department of Family and Children services, refugees, foster and adoptive
youth, for the past 25 years and as a therapist.
Cristina uses evidenced- based therapeutic techniques such as CBT, mindfulness, and client-centered play and strength therapy to assist her clients in reaching their therapeutic goals. Cristina is a native of Romania, having immigrated to the United States in 1998; she is fluent in English and Romanian. She is culturally competent in working with individuals from many regions worldwide, specializing in Eastern European and Turkish populations.
Her approach to therapy is meeting clients where they are while helping
them identify specific treatment goals. Throughout sessions, clients learn
to recognize and use their strengths to transform their lives positively.
Daina Levy, Masters level Intern

Daina is warm and compassionate and loves to help people regain their joy and peace. She specializes in applying cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy techniques in her work with clients who have experienced trauma and abuse. She's passionate about helping individual clients of all ages, couples, and families to heal and build healthy futures.
Daina treats the person as a whole, taking into consideration their psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs. Her areas of emphasis are sexual abuse, narcissistic abuse, relationship issues, family challenges, interpersonal communication, self-esteem, behavior modification, productivity, and pre-marital preparedness under the direction and supervision of Jasmine McCoy, LCSW.

Saja Gabbidon, Masters level Intern

Saja is kind and has a passion for holding space for individuals who need a listening ear. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Georgia State University and currently is a graduate intern receiving her Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Saja has a plethora of experience working with children and young adults. Her clinical experience is with adolescents as well as adults who are working through trauma and abuse in individual and group settings. She uses evidenced- based therapeutic techniques such as CBT, mindfulness, and client-centered therapy to assist her clients in achieving their therapeutic goals under the direction and supervision of Jasmine McCoy, LCSW.

Mr. McCoy brings an alternative method to help gain clarity, confidence and courage for a better life. Certified life coach through IAPRC and many years of life experience. We are excited to have him as part of the team.
